Honoring Those Who Served: Homeless Veteran Comfort Kit Giveaway

At Alaskan Way Inc, we believe no veteran should ever feel forgotten.

Every day, many veterans across our communities face homelessness, isolation, harsh weather conditions, and uncertainty. These are individuals who once stood in service to our country, and now many are fighting battles that often go unseen. As a veteran-founded organization, this mission is deeply personal to us.

We are honored to announce our upcoming Homeless Veteran Comfort Kit Giveaway, made possible through the generous support of the Disabled Veterans National Foundation.

These comfort kits are designed to provide practical support, dignity, and encouragement to veterans experiencing homelessness or hardship. Each kit will help meet immediate needs while also serving as a reminder that their community cares and stands beside them.

The giveaway will take place on June 5th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Catholic Social Services 3rd Avenue Resource & Navigation Center. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner within the community to reach veterans where support is needed most.

This event is part of our continued commitment to serving vulnerable populations throughout Alaska and ensuring that veterans have access to compassion, resources, and hope.
